The course was built in 1970 and was designed by William Diddel, a famous Carmel business man and architect.

These clinics are designed to equip young golfers with the skills and knowledge of the game to help mold them into knowledgeable adult golfers in the future.
In addition to youth golf clinics, golf lessons are available to golf enthusiast of all ages. The lessons are taught by Brian Ballard, a PGA head golf professional, and Chris Williams, an assistant golf professional. Rates vary depending number on lessons and whether the golfer is an adult or junior golfer.
