The Bridgewater Club: Resort Living At Its Finest

The Bridgewater Club in Carmel, Indiana represents resort living at its finest in Central Indiana. Carmel, an upscale suburb of Indianapolis, is rightfully proud of this elegant golf course and the residential development that is attached to it.

Still in development by one of Central Indiana’s best-known home builders, Throgmartin-Henke Development, the Bridgewater Club is what’s known as a residential golf course community. It is made up of a professional, 18-hole championship Indiana golf course interwoven among upscale residences, a 23-acre practice range, an enormous clubhouse with all the trimmings, and a still-to-come “Village Marketplace,” which will service the entire community, as well as surrounding communities. All of this, and much more, is contained in 750 acres of some of the most beautiful property in the United States.

The Dye Course

Designed by world-acclaimed architect Pete Dye, this championship 18-hole golf course winds its way throughout the large property among mature woods and some 24 lakes and ponds. There is also an executive golf course with nine holes, a short game section, and one of the top ten practice ranges in the entire United States, called the Preserve Academy.

The Marketplace

This is a lovely space within the property set aside for neighborhood shopping and offices. Residents use their golf carts to go to and from the Marketplace, but there is parking for regular automobiles as well.

The Homes

Indiana real estate within this magnificent community is diverse but elegant, starting around $400,000, and including large lots with town homes, condos and golf villas of varying sizes and descriptions.

The Amenities

The Bridgewater Club offers residents everything they would expect and more, including both indoor and outdoor pools, a fabulous dining and banquet facility for Indianapolis events, tennis courts, a large Indiana fitness center, and a five-mile walking trail to enjoy all the beauty and stay fit.

Clubhouse dining is haute cuisine presented by Chef Joe Warter, and includes such succulent offerings as New Zealand Venison Rack and Kobe Beef.

The Bridgewater Club is a great locale for wedding and other social gatherings. This video gives an overview of the splendid facilities.

The Fitness Center offers an excellent training and fitness facility, as well as group exercise classes, pilates, Yoga, free weights, youth fitness camps, aerobics, steam rooms, showers and lockers, a juice and fruit bar and more.
