Petite Chou Bistro and Champagne Bar Restaurant Review

Petite-Chou-Restaurant-Review
Petite Chou is a bistro-style restaurant in Clay Terrace, a spinoff of the popular Cafe Patachou. But while Patachou is a little more casual, Petite Chou has a classy, French-inspired style. Maybe it’s the “champagne bar” part that makes it feel so fancy. It actually felt like a little much for the girls’ night I was there for.

Petite-Chou-Restaurant-Review-3The champagne and cocktail list is phenomenal. Petite Chou features classic cocktails like the sidecar and gimlet, and a full champagne bar. It was a lot of fun for a girls’ night out, but I like it even better for a date night.

You’ll find the perfect blend of fancy restaurant and affordable dining. That’s not something you run across often.

The food is just as unique.

Petite-Chou-Restaurant-Review-2Named by Travel and Leisure as one of the best French restaurants in the U.S., you can choose between bouillabaise, cassoulet, and crepes. I had a burger, because I’m classy like that. It was clearly a fancy, French burger featuring brie, caramelized leeks and sautéed mushrooms, served with a side of frites.

I ordered mine on gluten free bread, which is also available for a variety of breakfast and lunch options. Or brunch, if you prefer — with a fabulous champagne cocktail on the side. Because that’s the fancy, French way or something like that.
