The Carmel Community Playhouse is a recently-opened live performance venue for Carmel, Indiana, and home to Carmel’s longest-running community theatre group, the Carmel Community Players.

Along with hosting regular stage plays produced by this award-winning troupe, the Carmel Community Playhouse is also making itself available for use by the Carmel and greater Indianapolis communities at large. The facility is well-equipped and can accommodate 150 attendees for all sorts of events, meetings and gatherings.

With an eye toward fusing the performing and the visual arts in Indianapolis, and other cities in Indiana, the Carmel Community Playhouse plans to display their work on its walls.

Some types of events that are well-suited to the rental of this particular venue are theatrical performances, workshops, music concerts and recitals, business meetings, comedy and improvisational events and art shows. Catering is a snap at the Carmel Community Playhouse, and restaurants for more dining options are only steps away. Rental rates include the use of tables, chairs and the theater’s sound and lighting equipment.

The proceeds from any rental income go toward the financial support of the Carmel Community Playhouse and the Carmel Community Players. They also further the causes of the various community outreach programs planned at the venue for the benefit and interaction of all those who love the arts in all its varied manifestations.
