The Carmel Farmers Market, held at Civic Square in Carmel, Indiana, is an ongoing seasonal Carmel event in an open market format where residents and visitors to Carmel can purchase fresh fruit, dairy, meat, baked goods, flowers, herbs, spices, and prepared foods including honey, jams, and salsa.
A growers-only market, the Carmel Farmers Market was established in 1999 by a group of volunteers who saw a need to provide a fun way for Carmel residents to support their local farmers, nurseries, and growers in the outer metro Indianapolis area.
The Carmel Farmers Market is open each Saturday morning, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in downtown Carmel, June through September. In addition to fresh food products, an annual “veggie art” contest, Carmel children‘s activities, recipe sharing, and live Carmel music make this exciting Carmel attraction entertaining for visitors.
