CarmelFest: An Annual Tradition of Independence
CarmelFest is a long-standing tradition in Carmel, Indiana that celebrates the heritage of the city and the nation. This three-day Indianapolis festival event takes place over the July 4th holiday and includes live Indianapolis music and entertainment, a parade, food, arts and crafts vendors, games for Carmel children, and a fireworks display.
Festivities at this Carmel event change yearly, but they typically include a parade, complete with floats and marching bands from Carmel High School and other sources, a CarmelFest charity ball, a Kid Zone complete with games, prizes and interactive Carmel sports, and three stages with live entertainment.

The live entertainment at CarmelFest ranges from music to dance troupes and even includes local teen bands. The festival event is never complete without the WYXB 105.7 FM Fireworks Spectacular, one of the area’s largest fireworks displays synchronized to music and broadcast live on the Indianapolis radio station.
