Monon Center: The Jewel of Carmel’s Central Park
Carmel, Indiana residents enjoy many amenities, not the least of which is the Monon Center. Operated by Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation, the Carmel parks department, the Monon Center is a recreational facility equipped to offer hundreds of different programs for the residents of Carmel, ranging from Carmel arts to fitness to technology.

Carmel, a northern suburb of the Indiana state capital city, Indianapolis, is one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States and considered by many to be one of the nicest as well. Indianapolis health and fitness programs depend heavily on suburban facilities such as the Monon Center to supplement the programs in the inner city.
The Monon Center is located inside the perennial favorite, Central Park of Carmel. The center features both an indoor pool and outdoor Aqua Park, a large gymnasium with three regulation-sized basketball courts for Carmel sports enthusiasts, an indoor track, a fully-equipped fitness center, a cafe and much more.
The Monon Center is big on Indianapolis children. They offer a Kid Zone play area with on-site childcare by experts in their field who actually love playing with kids and helping them create good fitness habits that will last a lifetime.

Available programs range from dance and fitness instruction to swimming lessons, a variety of Indianapolis sports programs, personal interest classes, and the list goes on. Full-year passes are available as well as special drop-in rates for visitors. Banquet rooms are available for renting out for parties or other events.
