Over 125 juried artists exhibiting watercolor, oil, 2D, jewelry, photography, 3D, wood, sculpture, pottery, and more will be featuring their work at the 16th Annual Carmel International Arts Festival this weekend. On Saturday, September 28 from 10am to 6pm and Sunday, September 29 from 10am to 5pm, head to the intersection of Main Street and Range Line Rd in the Arts and Design District to see some fantastic art and take part in the festival activities at the city’s biggest fall festival. Artists throughout Indiana and the US had to apply and be accepted to be featured at the event. Along with the artists there will be several food vendors and entertainers at this Indianapolis Festival.

The festival will also include the High School Student Art Exhibit, Japanese Exhibit and Chinese Exhibit. Children should also look for special stations set up throughout the area labeled “Young @ Art.” There they will find opportunities for face painting, sidewalk chalk, Dooley the Clown, caricature artists, and more. New this year is the Italian Madonnari Style Chalk Walk where the public is invited to get creative and enter a chalk art contest. For an application click here.
Parking is available at Carmel High School with a free shuttle service to the festival. There is also parking available underground at the Indiana Design Center. Oh, and this festival is FREE!
